Well it's been a few years since I added to my blog, a lot has happened. I became a grandma to Emily who is now 7 going on 17, little girl with a BIG attitude.
I know I've said it before but I will hopefully try and keep up with the blog this time.
I'm currently making face masks and selling them in our local community through Facebook.
During lockdown, I have been busy, made 53 laundry bags for key workers and donated most of them to a local care home. I'm also crocheting lap blankets for the elderly for next winter, I'm now on number 17!
I've made all my own cards to give away, as the local shops were all shut.
Emily drew us some Rainbows and I knitted a few to go in the windows.
I've had a go at patchwork and quilting, made a few bags in that.
Also tried my hand at making a couple of dresses for myself.
Emily's dolls have also had new outfits.

Sorry not been here for a while, been on holiday to Bridlington last week, and had to come home a day early as the rain decided to come into the awning of our caravan and flood it!! Not very nice.

I have had some wonderful news as well, my daughter and son in law are having a baby in January, so I am going to be a grandma for the first time, ooooh can't wait!!

I have spent this afternoon making jewellery to add to a local selling site:

please feel free to have a look.

Hopefully I can start to keep up with the blog from now on, speak later xx

I have been even stronger!!

Last week I put some craft stuff on Freecycle and all my rubber stamping things and Xmas things went to a local primary school for their craft club, so I know it now has a good home, and will be well used.

I know it's hard, but I have to be strong!

Well after my post on Sunday about all the things I don't need, I am being very brave and have put a lot of things on freecycle, lots of crafty bits & pieces. I am very lucky in the fact that I have a craft room in the loft with lots of natural light and a lot of space, but it's no good when all the space is taken up with things I'm not using, so cardmaking is on it's way (well some of it is) lol. At the moment I can't see my 2 work tops or most of the floor and this is not good for my creativeness, I am being very positive about the clear out, but may have to go and have a lie down in a darkened room, wish me luck everyone, and fingers crossed I will get some phone calls soon. I will keep you updated. Thanks for stopping by.
